Top Islamic scholar of the country will sit in a meeting on December 5 to decide their next course of action flowing recent unrest over construction of Bangabandhu’s sculpture.

Maulana Mahmudul Hasan, acting chairman of Qwami Madrasa Education Board (Befaq) and Al-Haiyatul Ulia Lil-Jamiatil Qwamia Bangladesh, will preside over the meeting to be held at Jatrabari madrasa in the capital.

Allama Noor Hossain Qasemi, Mufti Muhammad Waqqas, Allama Abdul Hamid (Pir Madhupur), Allama Abdul Quddus, Maulana Ataullah Hafezji, Mufti Mansurul Haque, Maulana Sajidur Rahman, Mufti Syed Faizul Karim, Maulana Nurul Islam Jihadi, Maulana Mahfuzul Haque, Maulana Ubaydur Rahman Khan Nadvi, Maulana Arshad Rahmani, Mufti Mizanur Rahman Saeed Promu, among others, will attend the meeting.
